hunterkirk is the resident ditto head spambot on talk_politics. If there is something nasty to say about a Democrat, he will say it. If there is an insane conspiracy theory about liberals destroying America, he will buy into it. If there is someone spinning a supposition that Barack Obama is the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse, he is all ears. Take the political bias of Rush Limbaugh, merge it with the shear insanity of Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann and add the grammar and spelling of a 5 year old with a traumatic brain injury and you have hunterkirk.
So yesterday he poses a question to the forum which is one part Birth Certificate Conspiracy Theory, two parts misunderstanding of the Constitution and about 11 parts crazy juice.
Premise: He still doesn't think Obama was born in the United States. Has link to government wiki article saying that if someone is born overseas then BOTH parents must be citizens to be an automatic citizen and wants everyone to discuss if this means Obama is not qualified for the Presidency.
He then replies to EVERY thread with the same copy and paste reply.
Hilarity ensues.

I work at a fairly large bakery cafe chain and there are a ton of regulars that come in every single day. For the most part, these are some of the sweetest people. They know our names (and we know theirs) and they're fairly awesome. But there is a handful of them that think because they come in every day, they own the place and have every right to complain, bitch, be rude and belittle us. I'll cut all the stories, since they get a bit lengthy. ( Read more... )

First time poster. I wonder if anyone else who might work in the nutritional side of hospitals might have this same issue. It hasn't happened a lot since I've been the supervisor there, but it's been happening with more frequency since the economy decided to tank.
Anyway, so here's how it goes. The cashier on duty comes to get me because a customer is arguing with her about getting food now and paying for it later. She does the right thing and comes and gets me because he insisted a supervisor let him do it before (unlikely).
Me=me HG=hungry guy
Me: Hi, I'm CharlieJoy, how can I help you? HG: I need to get something to eat but I want to pay for it later. Me: You can pay for it later by putting it on a credit card, but we don't have charge accounts here. HG: But I really need to get something. Can't I pay for it later? Me: No, you have to pay for whatever you get when you get it, and we accept cash, checks, credit and debit cards. HG: The other supervisor let me do it. (which he mumbled so badly I thought he said, you let me do it). Me: I let you do it? HG: No, the guy supervisor (unlikely!!!). Me: Well, I'm sorry. I can get fired for doing this if my director was to know. You will have to pay for anything you get. HG: But I only get paid once a month. (he glares at me like I'm the one who forces him to deal with only getting paid once a month) Me: I'm sorry, I can't. HG: Can I just get a roll or something?
I hate having to be that person who says no to someone who has fallen on hard times. I'm the mostly likely of the three supervisors to give in, the male one he referred to is the least likely. So I don't know what's up with that.
The cashier on duty said that he bought a cup of coffee and left. WTF? You have enough to buy coffee, but you don't use that money to buy something else? Good lord. I'm not sure what is it is, but being in a hospital cafeteria brings out the people who think they can get something for free. I'm not saying that there aren't genuine cases of people dealing with family in the hospital and they don't have any money to pay for something to eat, and generally we can do something to sort that sort of situation out. but everytime someone comes and demands food and get angry about it don't have family at the hospital and are just looking for freebies.
